Tested on
Every fix on this site runs on one of these machines before it's published. No fix ships on the strength of a forum post alone.
Current fleet
| Machine | Chip | macOS | Role |
|---|---|---|---|
| MacBook Air | M1 | 26.6 | Fanless baseline — worst-case thermal behavior |
| Mac mini | M2 Pro | 26.6 | Desktop, always-on, multi-display testing |
| MacBook Pro 14" | M3 | 26.6.2 | Primary daily driver, current-release testing |
| MacBook Pro 16" | M4 | 26.6 | High-headroom chip, dev-environment testing |
How verification works
A fix isn't published until it's been run, command by command, on at least one machine above — the "Verified on" table at the bottom of every article lists exactly which ones and when. If a fix stops working on a newer macOS version, that article gets a staleness notice rather than being quietly left wrong.
Check the current macOS version's status or browse the full list of clusters.
